CHIME AHEAD
Terms and Conditions.
Last updated October 29, 2026. These terms describe the Chime Ahead reminder service and its optional text-message program.
The service
Chime Ahead lets you create and organize reminders and lists. You are responsible for the content you enter, the times you choose, and keeping access to your account secure. Please use an email address and phone number you control, and keep them current in your account.
Reminder delivery depends on your settings, the information you provide, your device and network, and third-party delivery services. A reminder can be delayed or fail. Do not rely on Chime Ahead as your only notice for an emergency, medical care, or another safety-critical event.
Optional SMS reminder program
After signing in, you can enter your own US or Canada mobile number and check a separate, initially unchecked SMS consent box in notification settings. If you opt in, Chime Ahead may send automated, non-promotional text reminders for the tasks and appointments you create and schedule. Message frequency may vary based on your reminders. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of using the service.
Reply STOP to a Chime Ahead reminder text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also withdraw SMS consent in notification settings. A text already accepted by a carrier may still arrive after you opt out. For assistance, use our Contact us page. Text delivery is currently limited to private testing and is not yet available to all users.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account, reminder, and SMS consent information. We may update these terms as the service changes and will post the current version here. If you have questions, contact us.
